I took up yoga many years ago as a way to introduce a different type of activity to my physical regime. I have stayed in Pam's yoga class because she has helped me learn to be present. I find it difficult to be quiet in my movements and keep my mind quiet. Pam has a unique ability to challenge one's thought process...by challenging one's mind set. She explains concepts that test my preconceived ideas on striving, movement and being present.  Her weekly classes are intimate and allow for participants to be individually encouraged. She challenges my abilities, while accepting that we are not all "perfect". Whether it has been one of her morning classes or an evening class, it is a great way to start or end any day. There is a calmness that Pam brings with her that I have not experienced elsewhere...it is for that reason that I look forward to my time in her class.

Pam is an intuitive, caring and sensitive instructor who seems to know just what I need each week and explains all the therapies in a way that makes sense to me. She is easy to follow and always helpful. If something is new, it's fully explained. We never rush into anything. She is a true Yoga therapist who cares about the process as much as the outcome. I am sad if I have to miss a class.

I have had the long term benefit and pleasure of experiencing yoga through the teachings of Pam. She was not my first yoga instructor nor the only yoga instructor that I have known but I do keep returning to Pam’s class. I keep returning because of the personal growth and improvement I have experienced through Pam’s methods. Pam has a gentle yet strong approach in her yogic philosophy. It is easy to understand and accept Pam’s reasoning and practice her teachings as part of my daily life. I feel that I have improved my life having known her.

Pam brought yoga into my life a little over 5 years ago and my love for it grows with each passing year. The benefits are endless and I am happy to say I truly feel stronger and more youthful than I thought possible for my age. I believe that is largely due to the fact that regardless of the stresses that have come my way in the last few years, I have developed a strength within myself that allows me to come through them .Pam’s teachings of acceptance for what is, drawing ourselves away from the outside world, and into a quiet place within, have offered me the grace of just being with life. I am what I could call a fixer, or so I have always labeled myself. I’ve learned to fix only myself and let the rest be. The physical aspect of yoga has strengthened me immensely , I truly breath life into myself as I practice and I know because of my yoga, I am a much healthier woman emotionally today.

She is a blessing beyond words, because she is my Daughter and as amazing as it may be, she has taught me how to be a living part of the world rather than merely existing in it . Thank you Pam.  May you continue to shine your light into many lives.

I find that attending yoga classes is a very important part of my life. For me there are tremendous benefits both physically and mentally. Following a class I feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. Through yoga, I have learned strategies for relaxing during daily routines and during times of stress.; I have a heightened awareness of healthy and non healthy body postures. I have also been helped me get in touch with my own sense of well being. Yoga has been very supportive during my recovery period following a back injury by helping to relax and then strengthen the affected muscles. Regular attendance at the yoga classes really helps support my goal of trying to have a healthy lifestyle.

I have attended yoga classes taught by Pam Moskie for 4 years. I feel so very fortunate to have come under her guidance. For me, the most energizing characteristic of Pam as a teacher is her personal enthusiasm for learning and for sharing that learning. Pam is very attentive to her students; she provides an overview of what will be covered in a class or group of classes; she carefully demonstrates each new asana and often asks for feed back from those attending her class. Two very special aspects of Pam's teaching are her constant attention to safety and her - awareness and intuition in helping individual students. In her classes, I am mentally challenged by the new ideas she presents and physically challenged by what she asking me to do with my body. I am never bored and am always eager to attend class. To me, that means Pam is an excellent teacher!

I joined Pam's yoga class with my daughter when she started university - a kind of mother/daughter activity.  Well, Kate's off to law school in the fall and I'll start my 5th year of yoga.  Pam is a real gem; we are blessed to have her in our community.  She has an uncanny way of knowing what the class needs most each week and she continues to deliver her best. I feel lucky to have a spot in her class and I pray she never retires.  I'm hooked for life.  Thank you Pam.

My week is very stressful.  During class I am able to calm down and relax.  This feeling lasts the entire day and a few days after as well.  I feel energized, ready to tackle problems, but mostly I feel calm and relaxed. The stress melts away.  My shoulders loosen up, my jaw relaxes, and my posture improves.  Every week I feel like a brand new person ready for life's challenges.  It is truly the one thing I look forward to every week!  Pam has a quiet, calm, relaxing voice.  She is helpful, humourous, and a thoughful instructor.  She is always able to accomodate postures for people who are either more or less flexible than others.  She challenges us without pushing us too far.
